Rainwater Water Tank Rebates
Each State Government Rebate has a different system regarding rebates. In South Australia the Government offers a rebate of up to $800.
The rainwater tank must be at least 1,000 litres in capacity. To be entitled for a water tank rebate, the rainwater tank must be plumbed into a toilet cistern, laundry or hot water system.
If only used for drinking water, the rebate does not apply.
Water Tank Rebate Is Split Up As Follows:
- $200 cost towards the rainwater tank
- $600 towards cost of installing tank into house
